I was at TJ’s yesterday and noticed they were selling their first boxed wine, a Syrah from Australia. Have you tried it?

We just did a comparison test of 4 of the 8.99 Pinots at TJ’s. The Three Knights Pinot was clearly the best and good Pinot at any price, and dynamite as an 8.99 Pinot.

@Dave, that’s awesome you guys got to taste all those wines at the same time. Which were the other Pinots?

Glad to have found this blog, am in Raleigh, NC with three TJs within striking range. I enjoy both the Epicuro and the Moon wines at Joe’s, do you have those there and which in those families are your favorites? I tend to lean to the under $10 for everyday wine (yes, I’m in the every day crowd and almost exclusively a red girl) and I save my Joe’s receipts so I know which I like best and can repeat – and conversely avoid if needed. Am going to be sure to look for the The Three Knights Pinot per the above recommendation! Happy pouring!

Thanks for your nice words Maria. I hope to be tending to my site much more often and keeping up with the comments. $10 and under wines are highly sought after by consumers and wineries know this. There are some values to be found and mines to avoid. Which is why you’re here! I honestly haven’t had any of the Moon or Epicuro wines in some time, perhaps I’ll post on those soon.

    Matt,

I just left a post at the 2009 Cocobon site about this 2010 vintage and want to say 2010 is just as good, picked up a case for storage and a few extra bottles for the nights ahead, Yes! Folks, do not wait around, this wine sells so fast the label burn off, it is that popular. The price point is outstanding at TJ’s too but the taste and joy of it is even better!!!

Get it on folks… enjoy, cheers!

    Kent
